System Instructions

Introduction 

Microsoft Office has enabled closed captioning in the PowerPoint Office365 environment. This will allow individuals with hearing impairment to read along with presentations. 

It is best not to choose bottom or top overlaid for closed caption positioning because it will cover text on the presentation. Choose closed caption positioning above or below the slide. 

Instructions

Open the PowerPoint presentation to add closed captioning and select the Slide Show tab

Select the Always Use Subtitles tab

Select the Subtitle Language option

Then select the desired language for the presentations closed captioning 

While presenting, the following icon will be present on the menu at the bottom left of the page
