System Instructions

Introduction

Keeper Security settings are accessed from your user profile in the upper right hand corner of the application. Here, you can update many of the settings established when enrolling in the Keeper Security application.

General Settings

Settings in this section cover the following:

Setting NameDescription
Choose a ThemeChoose from the options to update the color scheme for your Keeper Security application.
LanguageAllows you to update the language of the Keeper Security Application.
Master PasswordUse to reset the master password allowing access to Keeper Security.
Security QuestionUse to update the Security Question and Answer used to recover your account.
Email AddressUse to update the email address associated with your Keeper Security account.
Find and Delete Duplicate RecordsLocates and deletes any duplicate records in your Vault.
Delete All Owned RecordsDeletes all records created and set up in Keeper Security by you. This will not delete any records shared with you in a Shared Folder.

Security Settings

Settings in this section cover the following:

Setting NameDescription
Enable Self DestructWhen enabled, erases all locally stored Keeper files after five (5) failed login attempts.
Two-Factor AuthenticationUse this toggle to turn on/off two-factor authentication.
Notification MethodUsr this control to Edit the notification method for two-factor authentication.
Security KeysThis setting is not used at this time.
PBKDF2 IterationsUse to improve security of your files and records at the cost of login speed.

KeeperFill Settings

Settings in this section cover the following:

Setting Name Description
KeeperFill for AppsThis setting only works with an installed Keeper Fill desktop application. Click the Setup button to access the desktop application installation process. When installed and set up, Keeper Security can auto-populate Username and Password information for some desktop applications. To review additionally functionality of the desktop application, review Keeper Security: Desktop Application
KeeperFill Browser ExtensionThis setting will let you know if the KeeperFill browser extension is installed in the current browser. If not currently installed, click the Install button and follow the on-screen prompts.
