Multi-Factor Authentication – iOS
Multi-factor authentication will need to be re-entered every month when your Microsoft token expires. This will arise as an authentication error in your Mail App. Here are the instructions to re-enter your password.
- Go to the settings app on your phone
- Scroll to the passwords and accounts icon
- Click on the NYSERDA account to access it
- Press Re-Enter Password in order to begin authentication process
- This will bring you to an Office 365 Authentication screen. On this page enter your NYSERDA username and password
- Finally you will need to enter Secureauth Passcode (see instructions for installing secureauth) to finish process
- This should return to the iOS account screen and Re-Enter Password will be gone. Once this is set you can re-open your Mail application and your email will sync
