To clear old/stale passwords that are locking your NYSERDA account
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click Profile Passwords
- Select the three vertical dots next to every entry using your NYSERDA username/email address or if the site has NYSERDA in its name.
- If you use Edge, or have ever used Edge, please open that browser and select three horizontal dots in the top right hand corner:
- Then select "Settings" towards the bottom:
- Click the "Passwords" option:
- Select the three horizontal dots next to every entry using your NYSERDA username/email address or if the site has NYSERDA in its name.
- For Firefox
- Open Firefox and in the upper right hand corner click the three horizonal lines:
- Then click "Settings" towards the bottom of the list:
- On the menu that comes up, click the "Privacy & Security" tab on the right hand side, then scroll down to "Logins and Passwords" and click "Saved Logins…"
- Select each site that has your NYSERDA username or email address listed and then select "Remove" towards the right hand side.
