Introduction
Audio Conferencing provides the ability to dial-in to a Microsoft Teams meeting using a phone line rather than your computer or device audio.
What You Need to Know:
- This functionality is automatically applied to all NYSERDA Microsoft Office accounts and to any meeting scheduled through Microsoft Teams in the future.
- Any previously scheduled Microsoft Teams meetings have been updated to include dial-in information
- Dial-in information can be found within any Microsoft Teams invite, either in Microsoft Teams or Outlook.
- Every user has a unique Meeting Organizer PIN associated with their account.
- Meeting Organizers must enter their PIN when prompted to start the meeting when you’re the first person to join and you join by phone. As with any PIN, keep it confidential.
- Meeting organizers and participants should continue to join meetings through either the cloud or desktop Microsoft Teams application to participate in, and engage, with shared content.
Locate the meeting information through the meeting invite, dial the Number and the Conference ID to join the meeting through the Teams application, or through the phone.
Participants joining by Phone Dial In only must be admitted into the meeting by another participant. After confirming the participants identity through their voice recording, click Admit to grant them access
