Topic Overview
Introduction
Microsoft Teams (aka Teams or MS Teams) is a unified communication and collaboration platform that combines persistent workplace chat, video meetings, screen sharing, file storage (including real-time collaboration), and team organization. Chat functions in Teams replace Skype for Business. Only Public and Confidential-Internal Documents should be stored in Teams. Microsoft hosts a series of free, live, online instructor-led training classes designed to get you up and running with Microsoft Teams.
If this is your first time using Microsoft Teams, we recommend that you begin exploring the materials below, starting with the Interactive Demo prepared by Microsoft to acclimate new users to the tools and functionality within the application. After understanding the basics of Microsoft Teams, you can begin to explore more complex subjects by clicking the alternate tabs above.
